Early Learning Reading Program
(Preschool – Kindergarten-1st Grade)
If you want to give your child the best start to reading, this is the place to come! We can teach beginners starting at age four, or as soon as they show interest in the alphabet. They learn the correct way to approach reading from the very beginning, so they will likely never struggle with written material in school. The goal of many first-grade reading courses is for students to read from 200 to 600 words. In our very first lesson, every student, including those with learning disabilities, will read at least 300 words and be empowered to read thousands more. This is a fantastic breakthrough in reading instruction. Our Rate is only $55 per hour of instruction.
Academic Associates Reading Program
(Students and Adults)
Whether your student is a little or a lot behind in reading, our Reading Instruction Specialists can help make up the difference. Most of our students reach grade level or beyond by the time they complete the program. It usually takes between 30-60 hours, and when they’re all done, they are almost always 2-4 years ahead of where they began! And although the majority of poor readers are boys, with this method, boys do just as well as girls! The course; however, is not just for students who are experiencing difficulty. Those who already excel will receive a welcome boost toward even greater success. Adults who want to upgrade their reading skill are also welcome. Many of the students who went through our program have increased their reading by two to four grade levels. Our Rate is only $55 per hour of instruction.
ELA – English Language Arts / Reading Comprehension
Reading well is only one aspect of a comprehensive education. English Language Arts, also known as ELA, is an important element of a child’s education. ELA enhances a child’s communication abilities and writing skills needed to excel in all academic areas.
Our tutors will help your child understand the key concepts of ELA such as grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, writing, and research.
Our ELA tutors will covers Parts of Speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, etc…), Sentence Structure, Sentence Mechanics (Capitalization, commas, exclamation points, periods, colons, apostrophes, contractions, etc…) Vocabulary & usage, and writing.
With our tutors assistance and practice your child will gain confidence they work on daily school lessons or standardized tests. Our Rate is only $55 per hour of instruction.

Adult Learning Programs
The Academic Associates Reading and Learning Center is now reopened for in-class and online-class Adult Intellectual and Developmental Disability Programs (IDD). All Classes are conducted on a one-to-one basis in our clean and safe facility. The following are some of the materials we work with.
Life Skills Program, and Workplace Plus Living Programs teach adult students to understand spoken and written general employment-related language. Communicate in their own words outside of an English class. Understand the culture and behavioral expectations of their new environment and workplace, as well as other life skills that are needed to live a productive life. Our fees are $55 per hour of instruction.
Our Creative Writing Course will help you learn how to organize yourself as a writer. How to develop your story and plots. How to write for the radio, stage and film industry. How to develop characters. Learn about the different story genres, and how to monetize your creative work and much more. Only $55 per 1 hour session -It typically takes about 10-12 sessions to complete course.
Adult Mathematics Class
Math is essential in everyday life for making informed decisions, managing finances, and solving problems efficiently. It helps with budgeting, calculating discounts, understanding interest rates, and handling taxes. Math is also crucial in cooking, home improvement, time management, and even health-related decisions, such as tracking calories or medication dosages. Beyond practical applications, math enhances logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze data, which are valuable in both personal and professional life.
